George Willborn
George Vernon Willborn II, a Chicago native, rose to prominence as the house MC at All Jokes Aside in 1992, the city's first predominantly African American comedy club. Sharing the stage with luminaries like Jamie Foxx, Bernie Mac, and Steve Harvey, he earned the moniker "The Stress Reliever." His success led to numerous television appearances on Def Comedy Jam, BET’s Comic View, and others. In 2015, he landed a supporting role in Spike Lee’s "Chi-raq."
In radio, George debuted on Clear Channel’s WVAZ V103 in 1996, eventually co-hosting the Mond Squad until 2006. He later co-hosted the Michael Baisden Show and The Real DC Morning Show. Returning to Chicago, he contributed to the "Doug Banks Show" and "TMG Afternoons" on WHUR. He rejoined the Michael Baisden Show in 2017 and joined the "Rick and Sasha Morning Show" from 2020-2021.
