His latest project, Blues Experience, features Mick Fleetwood of Fleetwood Mac, creating a fresh take on the Blues. The album includes standout tracks like "Rollin’ N Tumblin’" and "Kula Blues," showcasing Shimabukuro's experimental and bluesy style. Their rendition of Fleetwood Mac’s "Songbird" is particularly poignant, recorded shortly after Christine McVie's passing, capturing the emotional essence of the moment.
