Jazz Brunch ft. Yolanda Loy
Yolanda Loy Macon Owens is professionally known as "Yolanda Loy," the smooth, sultry, soulful singing Soulstress. Her musical influences are Aretha Franklin, Chaka Khan, and Rachelle Ferrell. Yolanda was born to Pastor Leroy and Jimmie Macon on July 2nd, 1969, in East St. Louis, Illinois, where she began singing at 5 years old. She has been given many opportunities to share her amazing gift and has shared the stage with many known and respected entertainers and musicians around the world, such as Vickie Winans, Jubu Smith, Donnie "DMajor" Boynton, Glen Jones, and many more.
Although very grateful for every opportunity and extremely grateful for the many people she has met and shared the stage with, Yolanda is most grateful for being chosen by GOD to bring joy, comfort, peace, and encouragement to everyone through her gift of singing. After a 14-hour brain surgery in 2017, Yolanda believes her gift is even more important and needed to be shared around the world because she SURVIVED! You will feel the same way once you encounter the smooth, sultry, soulful sounds of the Soulstress - Yolanda Loy.
