Rudy Currence is a Grammy and Dove Award winning producer, songwriter, and two-time #1 Billboard recording artist. Described by his fans as simply an “Experience”, Rudy is a South Carolina native with a degree in Music from Furman University. He is endorsed by Kawai Piano, the world’s 2nd largest piano distributor. Rudy’s writing and production credits include songs for the iconic Quincy Jones, Gospel legend Karen Clark Sheard and more. He has worked with artists including Lecrae on his Grammy & Dove Award winning project “Gravity” and David Banner on his recent “God Box” album. Rudy has shared the stage with powerhouse talents like Kirk Franklin and Jazmine Sullivan.
In 2022, he performed at the 37th Stellar Awards which aired on BET, BET Gospel, and Bounce TV. Other notable televised appearances include ABC’s “The View”, Revolt TV, Music Choice, Fox Soul and The Breakfast Club. Rudy has toured both nationally and abroad, performing in renowned venues such as House of Blues, Nashville Music City Center, City Winery, the Soul Train Music Cruise, Blue Bird Café, Cobb Energy Center, and The World Famous Apollo Theatre.
Rudy’s single, “I Belong Here”, exploded onto the Billboard charts in 2021, holding the #1 spot in Gospel Airplay for 2 consecutive weeks, along with the #1 Gospel Songwriter spot -- one of only 6 writers to hold this title. He achieved another #1 Billboard hit with the release of "No Greater Love" featuring Chrisette Michele. His highly anticipated album, “Stained Glass Windows” was released in April 2023, along with his latest radio single, “Ransom."
